ADESA, a digital marketplace provider for used wholesale vehicles supported by more than 70 vehicle logistics center locations across North America, on October 28 unveiled a new tool to improve the reconditioning process and improve return on investment for sellers, according to a press release. .

By tapping into millions of vehicle, repair and sales data points, the technology arms sellers with actionable repair suggestions that maximize profit opportunities on reselling these vehicles through the wholesale channel. The new tool shows how specifically tailored repairs and upgrades will improve vehicle quality, helping vehicles become frontline ready faster.

The reconditioning tool visually displays cars as recommendations in a centralized digital location, the ADESA portal, putting access in the hands of the seller. They can see which services will improve the score and therefore increase the profits. A maximum cost can be set to keep vehicle repairs and upgrades within budget while increasing the wholesale value.
