Arcata Town Hall

Fortuna Planning Commission

• The commission should discuss the city’s code related to off-street parking and loading. City development standards for multi-family residential parking requirements and automotive repair shop parking and enforcement requirements are also on the verge.

Humboldt Bay Joint Fire Powers Authority

• The Board of Directors must consider the approval of the budget for the financial year 2022-23.

Humboldt Bay Harbor, Recreation and Conservation District
When: The second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.

• Council to receive a report on the Woodley Island Marina dredging design plans and provide direction as required.

Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District
When: The second Thursday of each month at 9 a.m.

• Council should continue discussions on water resource planning related to the Nordic Aquafarms and Trinidad Rancheria mainline expansion projects.
• Council to discuss emergency water regulations.
• Council to discuss a summary of the budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year.

Humboldt County Board of Supervisors
When: Every Tuesday except the fifth Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m.

• At 10:30 a.m., the board is scheduled to meet in camera to discuss several existing disputes, including People of the State of California, et al. vs. Karen Paz Dominguez, et al. and Humboldt County v. Karen Paz Dominguez, both of which involve the county auditor-comptroller. The council will also consider appointments for the county attorney and a director of construction and planning.
• Council is prepared to consider a lease agreement with the Grind Cafe for the Humboldt County Airport in McKinleyville.
• Council will consider a letter of support for former Humboldt County Health Officer Donald Baird, who is being considered for the California Medical Association’s Frederick KM Plessner Memorial Award.
• Council should receive and review a draft public review of a regional climate action plan.
• Council to hold a public hearing on a Safe Shelter Pilot Program and an Emergency Shelter Order.
• The council will have a visit from students from Eureka High School during the regular meeting on Tuesday.
• At 10:00 am, the board will review credit limits for several fiscal years.

Humboldt County Planning Commission
When: First Thursday of the month at 6 p.m.

• The commission should organize an information workshop on coastal development and the special license of Nordic Aquafarms.
