Sex offender arrested after failing to register new address Brandon Harandon was arrested by police after failing to register his new address, which is a requirement as a sex offender.

MARIETTA, Ga. — A Cobb County sex offender is back in custody after failing to register his address because he lived across the street from a community park for a year.

Channel 2 Cobb County Bureau Chief Michele Newell learned that Brandon Haradon lived at Integrity Auto Solutions on Dallas Highway in Marietta. Right across from this business is a community pool and park where the kids play.

Haradon registered with the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office in May 2021 as he was supposed to, but once he moved to Cobb County, he never updated his address.

Newell learned that Haradon also worked at the auto shop while secretly living inside.

Cheryl Smith, an out-of-state employee, says Hardon was subletting the building for her auto business.

“Anyone with such accusations should be registered,” Smith said. “We’re closing tomorrow…the business owner is closing it.”
