Mix cars and coffee? It’s a way to wake up on Sunday morning, thanks to the San Diego Automotive Museum.

Balboa Park venue hosts its first Cars & Coffee community event of 2022 starting at 7:30 a.m. outdoors

Cars of all makes and models from community owners will be on display, while guests enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts. The public is also welcome to bring vehicles to show off in the parking lot.

Those who attend can also view the exhibits on display in the museum, for a discounted $10 admission for those arriving before 10 a.m.

Cars guests can browse include a custom-designed 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible, three Shelby Cobras, one of which is still registered to carol shelby, and a Kurtis 500 that has won numerous awards, including the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Future Cars & Coffees will take place on the third Sunday of each month, with the next one set for February 20.
